Dude chill you'll be helped, the game has just come out on Steam and it's in EA, so issues are to be expected, but be assured they'll be fixed

Still unable to play this game.

Re-installed, verified game files - checked firewall, antivirus.

the refund seems like a good idea!

You guys need to remember the game was only released as early access less than one week ago, there will be bugs.

Have you tried repairing the anticheat? Delete the EAC folder, the game's .exe, THEN verify game cache. Hope this helps, if not then please wait for a developer to come help, they're fairly busy but they will get round to this issue.

UPDATE/Fix: I found my ERROR, apparently Darwin Project uses EAC too and it actually displays what .exe caused the Error! It was my Gigabyte RGB Program that caused all of this!

I have the same problem. I bought the game on release day, didn't play for a while and wanted to start playing again. It worked perfectly yesterday but now gives me the "game security violation detected (#0000000D)" error message on launch. Have tried verifying local files via Steam and it even re-downloaded a file, but it still doesn't work. The only thing I did was installing a new BIOS version which (as far as I know) shouldn't have anything to do with it... Here is some stuff in case it helps:

Tested with:
NVidia Graphics Driver Version: 388.71 & 391.35
New BIOS Version: F.21

My System:
Ryzen 7 1700
2x GTX 1080 SLI
Gigabyte AX370 Gaming k5
16GB RAM

Would upload logs if I knew where they are located...
