Hi guys, Thomas (mid twenties) from france.

I have spent my whole childhood playing cod:uo and then cod2. (coduo is the best mp experience i ever had)

I am currently only playing csgo and i have heard of Battalion1944 on youtube. (can't remember where exactly)

Hope this game will bring the good old WWII fps that we had in the past.

I am Marijn (TheGi@nt / GIIANT) from the Netherlands (Europe) I played a lot of MoH:AA back in 2002-2004 and switched over to COD1 when it came out. During this time I was leader of a small clan (eXertion), which got pretty high in the ClanBase Benelux ladders and became first in both ladders, however it was justfor a few days :)

I'd like to see a combination of MoH:AA, COD1, RTCW: ET and CS in B44 in a competitive environment. With application to discuss and show team tactics on overvieuws of a map to support clan meetings.

I am joining the closed Alpha and Beta to support B44!

Hi there,

Really looking forward to the release of this game. I still play Call of Duty 2 on my 360 and simply cant wait for this. Have played all of the WW2 shooters along the way but still prefer COD2 tbh.

Wish the developers all the best for this game and look forward to seeing it in action!

Cheers

Ho shit! You beat me... Not used to that! I'm 2.00m

Do you play much bball or volleyball or even handball?

For France you are huge! Here in the Netherlands quite a few people are above 2m, so I'm not that tall here.

I play none of the sports you mention, but I play squash, to keep agile while tall, and that is not that easy like you might now :P

Hi everybody,

I'm Pim, born and raised in the Netherlands and currently in my mid-20's.

I have been a fan of PC shooters since I was ~12 or so, playing quake 3 and unreal tournament, over the years I have developed love for all types of video games but shooters have a special place in my heart, with fighting games coming in as a closed 2nd. When CoD first came out I was still active in UT and didn't play much on-line however I did finish the campaign 12 times - I simply loved it. With CoD2 I jumped into competitive CoD2 with some high school classmates - we weren't really that good but we had a great time. For the last 4-6years I have been complaining a lot about there not being any WW2 shooters. So when I heard about Battalion 1944 (via Tweakers.net - Dutch tech-related website) I was excited right away. I took a quick note since I was at work and a few days later (today) I supported the kick-starter and can't wait to get my hands on this game.

For work I will be moving to the US in the next few months so I hope there will be dedicated US (west coast) servers avaiable.

Nice to meet you all!
