It's the 1600 dpi yes and it's old but working just fine. If you lived around here you could buy it, don't care to send it :P

That's weird? I have never experienced any problems whatsoever. Did you try to reinstall it?

Not often, 3-4 times but just not helpful.

Seriously????

yeah the 1600dpi versions are pretty rare, the 1800dpi version has angle snapping/prediction so they are not as good but a lot more common because they are the "newest" version

I do also own a Steelseries Rival 100, not so great. I mainly use it as a travel mouse, as I keep my M65 on my desk. The Rival 100 doesn't feel as nice to hold though.

I switch between 3 different ones, my normal every day work horse mouse is the SteelSeries Rival 700 (https://steelseries.com/gaming-mice/rival-700), my primary Gaming Mouse is the Logitech G602 (http://gaming.logitech.com/en-us/product/g602-wireless-gaming-mouse) which is a replacement for my beloved G700 that is no longer made. The 3rd mouse I use is for travel with my laptop and its the bare bones SteelSeries Rival 100 (https://steelseries.com/gaming-mice/rival-100)
