  1. Good Morning Guys, will there be a own IRC Channel for Battalion 1944? Like the good old times, quick and easy matchfinder
  2. In game IRC chat.

Hi all, This is my first post here, I won't bother introducing myself. However I will say I am looking forward to this game and hope it brings back an FPS game that scratches the itch that COD4 left behind. Anyway on with my idea.. I believe one of the most overlooked aspects of competitive gaming is the ability to find XvX matches of like minded people. It seems modern games have taken an internal match making style, divided by a point based system. While this "generally" can work, I think it sometimes misses the mark. Looking For [LF] channels/posts/requests can only be found on forums or sites external to the game, finding the best ones can be difficult, fragmented, tedious and seems to only spread by word of mouth, I feel this curbs people wanting to dive into team tryouts and prevents teams picking up players. - One of the major reasons I have been put of my alot of recent games, there is no "personality" to just being thrown into a game and accepting a friend request. My suggestion is to implement a user friendly IRC chat client so people can connect to channels without having to scramble through forum posts to find one that suits there needs, this will allow clans to have personal channels, community channels such as the legendary cod4.wars, professional only channels as ( Correct me if im wrong) Tek9's was. Thanks.
