  1. Just a little update (v0.8) to the script: Changes: added map image for Savoia: If you're using the script on your own webspace, please download the latest version from GitHub, if you're using my hosted script, you don't have to do anything, changes are already applied to my webspace.
  2. @Press2continue ah, that's a different IP than you posted last time, the Steam Master Servers indeed report a Battalion 1944 server running at that IP, but it still doesn't respond to queries or the Steam Server Browser. I can find your server in the game's server browser and connect to it (even though it says it has a Ping of 999). I've seen other report similar problems with their servers, so it *might* be a bug in the latest server files, so there's nothing much I could do about it currently, sorry.
  3. Hi, are you sure the IP is correct? Neither the Steam server browser nor the Steam Master Server reports a Bat1944 gameserver at that IP. Please check again!
  4. It's "normal" that the live stats aren't correct. By default UE4 games don't seem to correctly use the steam query protocol standard, the real information can be found in the "Rules"-section of the query though: "Map" and "ModDir" (= gamemode) can be used from the "Server Info"-section, the rest is pretty useless.
  5. @C-BIN I've just set up a fresh 5 bucks Debian 9.3 x64 Droplet with DigitalOcean and it works without a problem for me: I can find my server in the game's server browser and can connect to it without a problem. I tried both installing and running the server as root and as user without special privileges, both worked fine. All I did after the Droplet was ready was "update & upgrade" and install unzip, nothing more. Are you trying to run the server as root or normal user? What other software did you install?
  6. It should work fine, what's your server's IP and query port?
  7. Small update to my website: If you don't know your query port, you can leave it empty now, my banner generator script will query the steam master servers and will list all Battalion 1944 game servers for the specified IP. You can simply choose your game server then.
  8. I used Digital Ocean's 5$ server for hosting my Bat1944 testserver without any problems. I chose Debian 9.3 instead of Ubuntu though, maybe that could be a hint....

Lots of information isn't reported correctly when you're using the steam server browser. What's your server's IP/port? You can use the link that Cyruz posted above to check the real settings of your Bat1944 server.
  10. Just a little update (v0.6) to the script: Changes: removed release information from servername by default game port instead of query port will be displayed If you're using the script on your own webspace, please download the latest version from GitHub, if you're using my hosted script, you don't have to do anything, changes are already applied to my webspace.
  11. Hi 5narkY, you can customize alot if you download the script from GitHub and use it on your webspace. Here's some stuff that can be changed via config file: ability to bind status banner to single gameserver so it's not needed to supply ip and port via URL change images for game logo, default background for unknown maps, error logo, error background change font used and font size for data/error messages enable/disable GeoIP features to display country flag according to gameserver's location, can be set manually as well show either game or query port in the status banner change font & shadow colors for all different texts set max length of server name before cropping it adjust cache time (default 60seconds, min 10sec, max 300sec) enable/disable gameserver IP filter to prevent others from using your hosting to display their gameservers change the texts for error messages and descriptions, so you can translate them to your language
  12. Hi Excel, oh, now that you mention it...I actually meant to change that to game port already...must have forgotten, will do right now. Thanks for letting me know!
  13. Hey crazynex, the problem seems to be that your webspace doesn't allow UDP connections so the script doesn't get any information from your gameserver. If you're using free webhosting it's likely that they will not enable this, if it's paid webhosting, a short support ticket is usually enough and they will enable UDP connections for you.
