    You are right, but I don't like how snipers kill in one hit in close range. I think it's bullshit and should require two hits. I've been typing this the entire thread and it's like no one is paying attention to it. This isn't just about luck, it's the fact that people feel comfortable using a sniper rifle to rush because they know if it lands on target it will be a one hit kill. No sniper rifle should kill in one shot in close range. I will use an example from a video posted here earlier. Just look at how easy the person in the first clip is getting kills with a sniper rifle in smg range. It's freaking ridiculous.     I agree Which is good. No sniper should feel like they have a chance against people with AR/SMG in close range. At least, not with a sniper rifle equipped. If they want to feel that way, they need to use their pistol and utilize headglitches and cover to get their kills, as well as nades and whatever else will be in the game just not their sniper rifle that will kill in one hit.

    I feel you don't understand what I'm typing because (1) English isn't your native language or (2) your reading comprehension isn't that good. For example I typed: "So, because you don't like the idea, it won't enter the game? Sounds like I game I won't be supporting then if you have any connection to Bulkhead." You replied: "And if you don't want to support a game that doesn't have the opposite of damage drop-off , you can't support any game lol." I typed: "Doesn't this game have something called damage dropoff? How come they can't make it where the damage for sniper rifles is decreased based on how close you are to the target? Is that not easy?" You replied: The 7-line text I quoted above Not once did I type anything about bullets dropping. Not once. And you didn't even understand that I was asking for whatever the opposite of damage dropoff is.

    That video is featuring console players. Aim assist is helping them out. And do you know how many of them fake videos like that or how long it takes for them to get games like that? Come on now. And just look how ridiculous that first clip is. Doesn't even look like they're trying to kill him and THEY'RE ALL SNIPERS. If you're gonna show me skill, show me something that was livestreamed and they kept getting games like that. Don't show me stuff that happens once every 50 games.

I feel like you're not trying to understand what I'm typing because you're on of those confident-rushing-with-a-sniper-against-smg-players I was talking about. No, it's not luck.

    Random early nades aren't luck. It's about knowing the spawns and spots. Randomly spraying through smoke and possibly getting a kill isn't luck. You know someone's using that to push, distract you, or whatever. Randomly shooting your sniper and hoping you hit something isn't skill, it's luck. I was basically asking that if damage dropoff is possible then how come the opposite isn't possible. I asked for sniper damage to be decreased depending on how close you are. Whatever the opposite of damage drop off is, do that to sniper rifles so they can't get a 1 hit kill in close range. And they still should require 2 hits from the sniper to get a kill. No sniper should be able to beat an ar/smg in close range, regardless of whether they're scoped in or not. None. The only way they should be able to win is if they get a headshot, 2 hits from sniper rifle, or if they use their pistol to finish off the opposing player.

    Thank you for staying on topic. Now, I think it requires some skill but there are also times where luck is involved. Also, I don't want bullet drop. I asked about damage dropoff because I saw something on discord that a dev recorded but someone posted. I would like something where the damage is decreased IF you're standing too close to the person. Where it will require two hits from the sniper rifle to get your kill, unless it is a headshot, so that no one can just randomly shoot and get an instant kill. I'm not just talking about being super close to the person. I'm talking about being in smg range.

    This is a competitive game. Is it not? LUCK DOESN'T EQUAL SKILL. It is not skill to rush with your sniper rifle and randomly firing getting a 1 hit kill every time you hit the person. Maybe you like it easy, but I don't.

    Even the best SMG/AR players will have terrible aim sometimes, but that doesn't justify a sniper being able to kill you in one hit up close. It should take maybe 60-70% of your health but not 100%. They should be forced to bring out their pistol or hit you a second time. No sniper should feel comfortable rushing with a sniper rifle. None You are right, but no sniper should feel comfortable rushing with a sniper rifle. If they do rush and get close to you, the sniper should require two hits to kill you.
